Miami's 2020 Home Bakers!

The 2020 Holiday Season is approaching, and here we are still in a twilight zone! With all the hardships, many have found a silver lining through it all! The home bakers have popped up EVERYWHERE! And damn, they make some good stuff!!!

Stay safe this holiday season with your families, and try to spend time together as long as it's in a safe manner to not risk the higher risk members! • Colleen Alexis is a local miami girl that taught herself the art of baking due to her natural passion for food and sweets! While in nursing school she started this as a hobby that cultivated into something more! And she continues her passion even after becoming an RN, which right now with all the madness, I truly commend her for all she does and finding that silver lining to keep her going! La Cocina de mi Papa:

• This husband and wife cuban family makes these treats and more from their home. Ever had an empanada filled with enchilado de camarónes? It’s so amazing? Their tostones are AMAZING too! • La Consented is run by a Chilean husband and wife duo that just started up their company out of their home mid 2020! Their recipes are inspired from their Chilean grandmas back home in Chile with their own special touch making them one of a kind! You can order their delicious and unique Chilean Empanadas (Empandas de Pino) and they have sweets like Chilenitos and even a Chilean Pisco Sour!
